We have a new phone number. Change it everywhere.

  • saddle-search-content found on 9 pages
  • saddle-get-blocks 9 pages read
  • saddle-edit-block 11 mentions changed
  • saddle-search-content none left

Changed 11 mentions on 9 pages. The old number is nowhere on the site now.

What you get

A list of every match before anything changes, then a second search that finds none.

The same recipe works for an address, a price or a product name.

You provide

  • The old detail, and the ways it is written
  • The new detail

The prompt

Our phone number has changed from [old number] to [new number]. Find every post and page that mentions the old one and change it.

Search for the old number written every way it might appear, with and without spaces, dashes or brackets. List each page with the exact line where it appears and a link to the page. Wait for my yes.

Change only the number. Leave the words around it as they are. Then search again and confirm the old number is gone.

If you find it somewhere you cannot change, such as a header, a footer or a plugin's settings, tell me where.
