Reuse a section on other pages

Saves a section you like, such as a booking band, as a pattern, then adds it to the pages that need it.

Edit content

Cursor

Put the booking band from the home page on every service page.

  • saddle-get-blocks home page read
  • saddle-save-pattern synced pattern saved
  • saddle-list-pages 4 service pages
  • saddle-insert-block-pattern added to 4 pages
  • saddle-verify-page 4 pages checked

The booking band is a synced pattern now, at the end of all 4 service pages. Edit it once and they all change.

What you get

The section saved as a pattern you can also insert yourself from the block inserter.

Ask for a synced pattern and one edit to it changes every page that uses it.

You provide

  • The page and the section to reuse
  • The pages it should go on

The prompt

I like the [section name] section on my [page name] page. Save it as a synced pattern called "[pattern name]", so editing it later changes it everywhere.

Then add it to the end of these pages, just above the footer: [list the pages].

Before you add anything, show me the list of pages and where the section will go on each. Wait for my yes.

Keep each page's other blocks exactly as they are. After adding it, check each page and tell me if any check found a problem.
